This document outlines key terms for custom spa cover orders. Customer is responsible for confirming all measurements, specifications, and order selections before submitting an order. Orders may be canceled at no charge until production begins; after production begins, a cancellation fee of no less than $100 applies. Custom covers are built to order; standard guidance for production plus delivery is 6–12 weeks (estimates only), and rush production—if selected—applies to the ship date from the manufacturing facility. SPA-MART accepts returns within 30 days of delivery subject to stated conditions (including non-refundable outbound freight and rush fees), and the customer is responsible for return shipping. Deliveries are curbside; certain locations may require meeting the carrier at an accessible location or providing an alternate address. Any freight damage must be reported within two (2) days of delivery with supporting photos, and the purchase is subject to the limited warranty terms.
Verification of Measurements
Customer understands and agrees to the following:
- Verify all information prior to placing the order and notify SPA-MART immediately to request any corrections or changes.
- If the customer has used our database of suggested sizes, verify the listed size by physically measuring the spa/hot tub and the existing cover.
- Verify the correct fold direction, where Dimension A is the length of the fold/hinge and Dimension B is divided in half by the fold/hinge.
Verification of Order Details
Customer accepts full responsibility for the accuracy of all information provided, including, without limitation, measurements, specifications, shape, vinyl/fabric color, fold direction, and any options and/or upgrades selected. Customer understands and agrees that SPA-MART is not responsible for errors made by the customer.
Cancellation
Orders may be canceled at no charge until production begins. Customer acknowledges that once production has begun, a cancellation fee of no less than $100 will apply, calculated to include costs already incurred.
Phone Orders
SPA-MART does not accept phone orders for custom spa covers. Customer support representatives can assist by phone while an order is being placed; however, all orders must be submitted through our website.
Payment Processing
The full order amount is charged to the payment card provided at the time the order is placed. SPA-MART uses tools and processes to help prevent fraudulent orders and cybercrime. Customer may be required to ship the custom spa cover to the billing address on file with the credit card issuer.
Spa Cover Satisfaction Guarantee — 30-Day Money-Back Policy
SPA-MART accepts returns of spa covers for any reason within 30 days of delivery. No restocking fees apply; however, certain terms and conditions apply, including, without limitation, that outbound freight charges and rush production fees are non-refundable. Customer is responsible for return shipping costs. Please refer to our Sales Terms and Conditions for additional details.
Colors
Customer understands and agrees that colors displayed online may differ from the actual vinyl/fabric due to a variety of factors; therefore, exact color expectations cannot be guaranteed. Customer further agrees that SPA-MART is not responsible for such variances. Pre-purchase color samples are available.
Measurement Tolerances
Custom-made spa covers may be manufactured in whole- or half-inch increments. For example, if a customer orders a 75-1/4" × 86-3/4" spa cover, the dimensions will be rounded up to 75-1/2" × 87".
Custom-made spa covers will not be manufactured smaller than the specified dimensions. However, due to the nature of spa cover manufacturing, SPA-MART reserves the right to produce a cover that is up to 1" larger than the rounded-up specified size.
Manufacturing Limitations
Customer understands that SPA-MART cannot manufacture covers for every spa/hot tub configuration. SPA-MART reserves the right to decline orders that, in its judgment, cannot be manufactured in accordance with applicable safety and quality guidelines. SPA-MART does not accept orders for covers exceeding 108" in length (Dimension A).
Standard Pricing Limitations
Customer acknowledges that published standard pricing applies to two-piece standard spa covers (connected by a fold/hinge) measuring up to 96" in length (Dimension A) by 100" in width (Dimension B, divided in half by the fold/hinge). Non-standard spa covers include, but are not limited to, covers with cutouts for speakers or headrests; covers with more than two foam cores; covers with more than one fold/hinge; covers with hoods and/or flaps for raised corners and spillways; covers with internal cover-lifter plates; and covers for irregularly shaped spas. Many non-standard covers can be ordered but may not qualify for standard pricing. Please contact SPA-MART for details.
People, Pets, and Objects on the Cover
Customer understands that SPA-MART strongly discourages allowing people or pets to walk on any spa cover or placing heavy objects on the cover. Such use may damage the cover and void the limited warranty. Customer understands and agrees that SPA-MART is not responsible for damage resulting from such use. By way of example, walking on the cover may break a foam core, and objects such as a garden hose or planter left on the cover may cause the foam to degrade as it heats in direct sunlight.
Tie-Down Strap and Buckle Location Variance
Customer understands and agrees that due to manufacturing variances in strap length and placement, matching prior buckle locations is not possible, should not be expected, and cannot be guaranteed. Customer further understands and agrees that existing buckles should be replaced with each replacement cover. Accordingly, new buckles and screws are included with each new spa cover for installation in the required positions. Customer understands that tie-down straps and latches are required safety features.
Production Lead Time and Delivery
Customer understands and agrees that custom spa covers are built to order and that production lead times vary. In many cases, backlog results in an estimated 3–5 week production lead time. However, to manage costs and continue to provide value, SPA-MART may consolidate orders, which may delay shipping so that delivery partners can deliver more efficiently within a given area. As a result, standard lead-time guidance for production plus delivery is 6–12 weeks. Customer understands that these timeframes are estimates only, and no refund or price adjustment will be provided if delivery occurs after 12 weeks. If a spa cover is complete but its scheduled delivery is not dispatched immediately, the customer may elect to pay the difference between standard included shipping and the cost of shipping via an alternate freight carrier.
Rush Production
SPA-MART offers an upgraded rush-production service that provides shipment from our facility within a specified number of business days. Customer understands and agrees that the rush-production timeframe begins once the order is confirmed and any outstanding questions have been resolved. The rush-production timeframe specifies when the cover will leave the manufacturing facility, not when it will arrive at the shipping destination.
Delivery and Shipping Requirements
Deliveries are curbside and do not include inside delivery, liftgate assistance, installation, or removal of an existing spa cover. If the customer requests any non-included service, the customer understands and agrees that the cost of the service provided will be charged to the original form of payment. Please contact our office before requesting that a delivery driver perform any service beyond curbside delivery.
A valid street address, daytime phone number, and email address are required, as the carrier may need to contact the customer regarding delivery. Spa cover shipping is restricted to the 50 United States; additional fees may apply. SPA-MART does not ship outside the 50 United States at this time. Customer understands and agrees that certain locations (including gated communities, narrow roads, difficult driveways, sharp turns, cul-de-sacs, or areas without turnarounds) may not be accessible by freight trucks, making curbside delivery impracticable. If the freight carrier determines it cannot access the delivery address, the customer must arrange to meet the truck at an accessible location or provide an alternate delivery address. Customer agrees to contact SPA-MART prior to placing an order if any of the above delivery constraints may apply.
Free Delivery Restrictions and Surcharges
Due to changes in economic conditions, freight costs have increased significantly since early 2019, contributing to higher overall spa cover prices. While SPA-MART has historically offered free delivery to most continental U.S. addresses, SPA-MART may assess shipping surcharges in areas disproportionately affected by freight cost increases. These surcharges cover only a portion of shipping costs. Many continental U.S. locations continue to qualify for free shipping. This approach helps maintain pricing affordability where possible.
The following states currently have a spa cover shipping surcharge:
Alaska, Hawaii, California, Oregon, Washington, Utah, Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, and Wyoming.
Freight Damage
Customer understands and agrees that shipment contents must be inspected promptly after delivery, as the carrier may not consider claims made more than two (2) days after delivery. Customer further agrees to report any damage claim to SPA-MART within this two-day window and to provide photographs supporting the claim. Customer agrees to allow reasonable time, as determined by the carrier, to process any claim and to provide any requested information necessary for claim processing.
Limited Warranty
Customer agrees to be bound by all terms and conditions of the custom spa cover limited warranty.

By placing an order, the customer acknowledges that they have reviewed and agree to these Custom Spa Cover Sales Terms, including the requirements related to measurement verification, production and delivery timelines, shipping limitations, returns, freight-damage reporting, and the limited warranty.
