A: Yes, the Cover RX can be used with the 6" x 4" foam. The RX includes spacers to accommodate thicker foam.
Q: Can you install this lift if the tub is full of water?
A: Yes you can, if you are able to lift it up just enough for the metal piece to slide under.
Q: Can the hot tub be full of water when installing this lift?
A: Yes it can be. But we do not recommend it to be.
Q: My spa back is where an access panel and wiring comes in so I assume I could use this on a side instead for a square spa?
A: As long as your cover is perfectly square and you don't mind having your cover's fold running the other way, that should work.
Q: Hello. What is the total cover thickness that the lifter will allow?
A: We do not recommend the Cover RX to be used with covers over 5x3 in taper.
Q: I have a cover that is 4 inches thick without a taper. Will the total 8 to 8.5 inches fit into the holder?
A: Yes, the Cover RX should be able to accommodate this. There will also be spacers included in the box that will allow the lifter to accommodate thicker covers.
