A: This product is the authentic 71325 cartridge from Watkins/Hot Spring Spas.
Q: Can metal gon be used with Freshwater Ag+ Continuous Silver Ion Sanitizer or does the metal gon bind with the silver making it ineffective?
A: Anytime you add a metal sequestrant to your hot tub, you should remove any mineral purifier cartridges. This include the Freshwater AG+ as the silver will be removed. However, after a couple days the Metal Gon will have done its job and you can return the Freshwater AG+ to your spa.
