Q: Will SunPurity work on Leisure Bay spas?
A: Whereas SunPurity cartridges should deliver the same mineral value to non-Sundance spas, your Leisure Bay spa does not have the convenient compartment to install the cartridge into. SunPurity is a Sundance form-factor and formulation from Nature2. Though not exactly the same, you can find similar utility with the use of a Nature2 spa mineral cartridge (#00NN1201).
Q: Do I have to use chlorine with the mineral purifier?
A: It is still necessary to use, albeit a lesser amount, chlorine with the use of this product. Mineral cartridges help to sanitize, but they are not fast-acting sanitizers that are absolutely necessary in a hot tub. However, the use of mineral cartridges like this allow you to drop your target residual from 5ppm to 1ppm of fast-acting sanitizer which is an 80% reduction.
