How Do You Use SpaPure Hardness Increaser?
Test your spa water before adding Hardness Increaser. SpaPure recommends maintaining calcium hardness between 150 and 250 ppm.
With the spa water circulating, add 1 ounce (approximately 2 tablespoons) per 500 gallons of water to raise calcium hardness by approximately 10 ppm. SpaPure states that the product can be added while the spa is circulating or while it is being filled.
Avoid adding more than necessary. Raising calcium hardness is easy, but reducing an excessively high calcium level can be more difficult, so test the water and make adjustments gradually.
